Jennings Mechanical is seeking Commercial HVAC Service Technicians of all experience levels to join our growing service team. What You'll Do
Responsibilities will vary based on your experience and skill level and may include:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing.
Work with a variety of equipment and components, including DX systems, chilled water and hot water systems, hydronic components, pumps, VFDs, and HVAC controls.
Support installations, repairs, and service projects while following established quality and safety standards.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues, recommended repairs, and solutions.
Maintain accurate service tickets, job estimates, and other required documentation.
Collaborate with fellow technicians, service managers, and other team members to deliver reliable, high-quality service.
Depending on experience, assist with training and mentoring less-experienced technicians, troubleshooting complex systems, and providing technical guidance.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required; HVAC trade school or technical training preferred.
HVAC service experience ranging from entry-level experience to extensive commercial HVAC expertise.
EPA Section 608 certification required for experienced technicians; entry-level candidates must be willing and able to obtain certification within 90 days.
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, develop technical skills, and solve problems.
Knowledge of HVAC equipment, system components, and controls appropriate to your experience level.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the assignment.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
